A bad switch will kill both weld power and wire feed. A bad switch will also prevent power from getting to the rectifier. This time so that I didn t have to bring in my HH 135 the boss rented me a machine. Once the gun is off, take a small piece of mig wire, bent into a u shape and poke it into the two gun switch cables. This will bridge the switch circuit and make the welder feed. Higher guage wire doesn't travel around curves well as lighter gauge.
