I got curious and ended up searching and reading from several other forums about the same complaint, some with very sad consequences such as damage with it opening inside a garage, to a person having a laptop with years worth of pictures stolen. This was also an occurrence for cx-5, mazda 3, and mazda 6 owners too in addition to cx-9’s.
